AAN DE START
Deze blog begon ik ooit in het Engels:
Dearest reader,
Today is August 31, 2017. During the past year I have been learning about the universe, gravity, time dilation, quantum mechanics and all kinds of topics on physics, math and science in general. I gues I am not alone thinking that there are thousands of good websites and youtube channels covering subjects like these, and still it is not enough. How come?
In the first place, I have no degree in physics, mathematics, science. That poses an inhibition to enter the community, because one must have a position in the field to be able to communicate with peers on topics that may have controversies.
Second, devouring all that can be read and viewed is one-way communication to a certain degree, for on youtube one can post comments. Nevertheless I think it is worth trying to gain an audience for my scribbles in astrophysics, relativity, etc.
These two are the main reasons to set up this blog and a corresponding twitteraccount. I hope to receive comments and additions to my postings. And I wish you pleasure reading en philosophizing.
By the way: I am based in THE NETHERLANDS, that is why the url is quantime.blogspot.NL. Thanks for noticing!!
